NOTICE OF TAXES DUE

All persons liable for the payment of taxes to the Town of Prospect are hereby notified that the first installment for the list of October 1, 2022 Real Estate and Personal Property and the entire bill on Motor Vehicles are due July 1, 2023, payable on or before August 1, 2023.  Any portion of this installment remaining unpaid after August 1, 2023 is subject to interest at the rate of 1 ½% per month (18% per year) from the due date until paid.  Minimum interest fee is $2.00 per State Statute 12-146.  Payment of taxes may be made by mail, online at townofprospect.org, or at the Tax Office, 36 Center Street, Prospect, Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-4:00pm.
